2024 marks ORFH’s 45th year of developing affordable housing in rural WA!
How to access ORFH
ORFH’s office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It may be preferable to contact us before dropping by as staff work remotely and/or have regular site visits/meetings at various rural developments across Washington state.
Of course, you can always call the office, or complete the Contact Us form on this website.
If you get to our office and the gate at the bottom of the stairs is locked, please call us at (509) 248-7014 and someone will come down and open it for you.
Be sure to like/follow and/or check our Linked In page for ORFH updates!
Also, please be advised that some of our staff, for a variety of personal/health reasons, may continue to wear masks in the office.

Need housing or other resources?
ORFH does not own or operate any rental housing. We are a private, nonprofit affordable multi-family housing development consultant. ORFH provides the technical expertise and extra capacity to help public housing authorities, nonprofits and others develop affordable housing to help low-income people in rural Washington State.
If you need housing, you can look up current resources in your community here. You can also contact your local Public Housing Authority or Community Action Agency to learn about housing options in your area.
If you are a farmworker and need additional training, you can learn more about the US Dept. of Labor National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP) or contact OIC of Washington, which operates the NFJP Program for Washington State.
In addition, ORFH’s work on permanent farmworker housing is supported, in part, through a contract with the US Department of Labor and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. This contract covers approximately 10% of ORFH’s annual costs.
